Mark Levy

Mark

Mark is a jack of all trades.  He is an experienced waterman whose surf, kayaking, and dive trips have brought him around the world; Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Panama.  Mark also races in triathlons in various locations in the United States and continues to coach and train soccer teams.  He finished the Ironman Coeur d’Alene in 2006.  Locally, he frequently surfs in Spring Lake, Manasquan, and Bay Head.

Mark has over 20 years of professional water safety experience and training from his career as a lifeguard in Manasquan, New Jersey.  Mark is seasoned and well versed in all types of athletic training and emergency rescue situations. 

His instruction expertise comes from years of experience in various jobs such as an instructor for junior lifeguards, high school soccer coach, certified pool operator, and at his current position as a public school teacher.  Mark is a natural instructor and has spent many hours teaching people how to surf.

Among his many coaching accomplishments in 2005 Mark was named the Asbury Park Press Boys Soccer Coach of the Year.

His studies in higher education include public school, teacher training, and a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Rutgers University.  Mark is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Instructional Technology.
